Panel Guidelines – PCBs Delivered in a Panel

Introduction

These panel guidelines are designed to help you to order PCB’s that are to be delivered in panels. These can contain one or more of the same PCB design or multiple PCB designs.

We refer to these as Customer panels.

Our panel guidelines will also help you to a stable panel of your own design, ensure good copper balance and how to panelise small and round PCB’s.

The advantage of PCB’s in panel format is that it allows for smaller PCB’s to easily handled during the assembly process.

It also allows for the location of tools holes and fiducials etc that are located in edges of the panel, thus leaving more room on the actual PCB for design features (tracks, pads, components etc.).
