Season 2022/2023 – RT13e

We started our series of competitions in Italy, with FSAE Italy. During development, manufacturing and testing of the car, our main objective was to pass all scrutineering with electrical vehicle and take part in dynamic events. We were able to pass the scrutineering for the first time in history of our team with electric vehicle. We managed to compete in Autocross securing P9 and took part in Endurance. We also did really good in static events scoring P6 in Engineering Design. Overall we secured P10 among 30 teams.

Our next competition was FS EAST. Where we participated in driverless category. Unfortunately, due to technical problems we were not able to compete in dynamic events. We gathered valuable feedback and implemented changes before next competition.

The third competition took place in Germany. FSG is the most demanding series among all Formula Student competitions. We were able to pass full electrical inspection but due to lack of time we were unable to finish autonomous scrutineering. We competed in Acceleration and Autocross events. And due to technical difficulties we missed Endurance event. Overall we ended up in the middle, receiving positive feedback for the overall concept of the car.

The last competition was also our home event. FS Poland, where we participated in electric category. After passing multiple inspections in previous competitions and gaining valuable feedback we were prepared for this competition. We were the first team to complete all scrutineering and hit the track in electric category. We finished Skid Pad and participated in Endurance, facing insulation problem in the left motor, which we fixed through the night and early morning of the last day of the competition. We managed to secure overall win, scoring P1 in Business Plan, Cost and Manufacturing and Skid Pad events, and P2 in Engineering Design. Great way to end the season, and great result for the team.

Electronics in RT13e

In total we have 22 boards located all around the car. Many of them maintain safety of the vehicle and have high voltage present on them. As our battery maximal voltage is 540V a good quality PCBs are mandatory. This is why we entrust Eurocircuits with manufacturing of our projects. To ensure best quality and high reliability.

For Season 2022/2023 Eurocircuits manufactured for us numerous PCBs. Low-voltage ones as well as high voltage ones, providing substantial aid for our project. We are very thankful to Eurocircuits for their support and great cooperation.
