Eurocircuits receives award for supporting local community in Hungary

Eurocircuits Kft. has received the “For Felsőtárkány” award from the municipality of Felsőtárkány, Hungary for active role and commitment to the development of the local community. As one of the largest employers in the region Eurocircuits has been instrumental in the development and prosperity of the municipality.

Eurocircuits has been successfully manufacturing PCBs in Felsőtárkány (near Eger) since 2004. In early 2017 they opened a new facility for the assembly of the PCB and in early 2023 the assembly division moved to a new 3,000m2 purpose-built facility.

We are proud to be part of the local community and as a growing company are continuously investing in their facilities and creating new job opportunities. Eurocircuits employs more than 500 people worldwide, of which ~300 in Hungary and where we are currently looking for new colleagues for our PCB & Assembly facilities.

In the summer of 2022, Eurocircuits inaugurated a brand new and state-of-the-art playground in the centre of the village and handed it over to the children of Felsőtárkány where all of the equipment was fully funded by Eurocircuits.

The “For Felsőtárkány” award was presented on 19 August 2023 at a ceremony marking the National Day of the Foundation of the State of Hungary. Norbert Lengyel, Head of PCB Assembly division of Eurocircuits Hungary, accepted the honorary award on behalf of the company from Mayor Rafael Szántósi
